Instructions and Help about How Irs Form 13844 Testimonials

Hey guys, it's Robert from The College Investor here, and I am excited to dive into TurboTax 2017. Today, we are going to do a mock tax return and talk a little bit about why we like TurboTax so much. Honestly, TurboTax has always been a standout when it comes to tax filing software, and this year is no different. However, the big thing with TurboTax is that if you qualify for the free version, they do put some limitations on what you can do. That's the only reason why we rank TurboTax as our number two favorite tax software this year. H&R Block edges them out, and you can read more about that in our H&R Block video and review. But for now, let's focus on TurboTax and how awesome it is! On their home screen, you can see that TurboTax has four different versions. They have their Absolute Zero version, which is honestly free but only for simple returns like 1040 EZ or 1040 A. The Absolute Zero edition may not work for low-income filers who qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit or child care tax credit. In that case, you will need to upgrade to the Deluxe version to access deductions and credits. Moving up in price, if you have any investments or rental property, you will need to use the Premier version. And if you're self-employed or a side hustler, like freelancers, small business owners, or independent contractors, you need to use the Self-Employed version. You may notice that I am getting a discounted price on my screen because I have visited the TurboTax website a couple of times. If you want to get the same discounted price, click on the link below the video or if you're on my review page. TurboTax always runs...
